New release
This release introduces a redesigned Prompt Builder and an upgrade to the underlying AI model in Focused View.
- Redesigned Prompt Builder: The English/Natural Language prompt builder UI has been redesigned for a clearer, more intuitive experience. The full prompt is now visible in the editor, giving you a complete view of what will be sent.
- Markdown preserved when copying prompts: Markdown formatting is now retained when copying a prompt as plain text, ensuring prompts paste correctly into other tools.
- Upgraded AI capabilities with Claude Sonnet 5: We have upgraded selected Matter Assist workflows from Claude Sonnet 4.5 to Claude Sonnet 5. Matter Assist now uses a combination of Claude Sonnet 5, Claude Sonnet 4.6, and Claude Haiku 4.5 across different workflows, enabling us to use the appropriate model for different AI experiences across the platform.
- More context-aware conversations in Matter Assist: Matter Assist now uses the context of your conversation when identifying relevant documents for follow-up questions. This creates a more natural and effective experience when exploring a matter over multiple questions. For example, you can ask Matter Assist to find additional supporting evidence, explore a different angle, or identify further relevant documents, with each question building on the conversation so far.
Improvements
This release includes usability and consistency improvements across Cases and worksheets.
- Export bookmark option renamed: The export bookmark option is now labelled "Collection page", matching the equivalent Table of Contents option for a more consistent experience.
- Worksheet toolbar grouping: Toolbar actions in worksheets are now organised into clearer groups, keeping all existing actions accessible while making them easier to find.
- AI usage dashboard: A new AI usage dashboard gives administrators on-demand visibility into their organisation’s AI token usage. The dashboard shows the organisation’s annual contractual token allowance, usage to date, and remaining tokens, making it easier to monitor AI consumption throughout the contract period.
Your contract remains the source of truth for your organisation’s contractual AI allowance.Note: This will only be visible to clients with Focused View enabled. Any clients using Single Doc or Workbench will still see the old dashboard.
Customer-reported fixes
This release resolves several customer-reported issues.
- Document form issue resolved (CS3-43): A long-standing issue affecting document form behaviour for an affected workspace has been resolved.
- Large archive exports now complete more reliably (CAS-428): We addressed an issue that caused large archive exports to fail intermittently, improving export reliability.
- Exported clips now play at the correct speed with audio (CAS-512): Clips that had been playing at an accelerated speed after export now play back correctly with audio.
- Date pickers and date-range controls now close correctly (CAS-578): Date pickers and date-range controls now close correctly after a selection is made or when focus moves away.
Bug fixes
This release resolves several issues across the Focused View and platform.
- Service availability restored following upstream routing failure: An infrastructure incident caused an upstream routing failure resulting in service unavailability for an affected workspace. The routing issue has been resolved and service restored.
- Cut-off AI replies no longer show a permanent "working" indicator: When a reply was interrupted mid-stream, the "working" spinner remained visible indefinitely. The state is now correctly resolved when a reply is cut off.
- Document Viewer toolbar overflow resolved: A long document title was pushing toolbar action buttons out of the visible area. The layout now constrains the title and keeps all toolbar buttons accessible.
- Issue names now display correctly: Affected views were showing an internal issue ID instead of the issue name. This has been corrected, and issue names now display as expected.
Upcoming release
The following features are in progress and expected in a future release.
- Search improvements (North American clients): Search is being enhanced to deliver faster, more accurate results. Planned improvements include clearer, more consistent highlighting of matching content to make it easier to identify relevant information within results. Enhanced monitoring capabilities are also expected to help detect and resolve search-related issues more quickly.
This enhancement is currently available to a limited group of North American clients and will be rolled out more broadly in a future release.
