If you're encountering issues uploading an archive larger than 50GB, don't worry! This guide will walk you through the steps to successfully restore your project.

Archive Your Project

Before you can restore your project, you need to ensure that it is properly archived. Please refer to the solution guide available here for detailed instructions on how to archive your project. Following these steps will ensure that your project is saved correctly and ready for restoration.

Send the Archive Zip to Opus 2 Product Support

Once you have your project archived, the next step is to send the archive zip file to Opus 2 Product Support. You can do this via FTP or any other secure file transfer method that you prefer. Make sure to keep a record of the file transfer for your reference.

Create a New Project

After sending the archive, log in to the Opus 2 platform and create a new project. It’s important to name this project in a way that indicates its purpose, such as "{Project} - Restore". This will help you and the support team easily identify the project later.

Notify Opus 2 Product Support

Once you have created the new project, notify Opus 2 Product Support that you have completed this step. This notification is crucial as it informs them that they can proceed with replacing your project in the Archive table with the zip file you provided.

Unarchive Your Project

After Opus 2 Product Support has confirmed that they have replaced the project, you can proceed to unarchive the project from the system admin panel. This step will restore your project to its previous state, and you should find it functioning as expected.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage large project archives and ensure that your work is always accessible. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to Opus 2 Product Support. We’re here to help!
