Tasks can be created directly from the document or transcript viewer by highlighting text and assigning follow‑up actions to users. Assigned users are notified by email, and reminders can be managed through Notifications.
Opus 2 allows users to convert highlighted text in documents or transcripts into actionable tasks. This enables teams to move seamlessly from review to task management without leaving the viewer.
Tasks created from highlighted text are automatically linked to the relevant passage and appear both in the right‑hand task panel within the viewer and in the Tasks worksheet. Notifications are sent to assigned users, helping ensure that important review actions are tracked and completed on time.
How to Create a Task from a Document or Transcript
- Open a document or transcript in the viewer.
- Click and drag the mouse over the relevant passage of text.
- Release the mouse button to display the annotation box.
