Explains how to copy text from a document using the clipboard tool in the Document Viewer and paste it for use elsewhere.
The Opus 2 Document Viewer includes a built‑in clipboard tool that allows users to quickly copy selected text from a document. This is useful for reusing content in notes, worksheets, external documents, or other applications without exporting the document itself.
Text copied using the clipboard tool is placed directly onto your system clipboard and can then be pasted wherever required.
Copying text from a document
- Open the required document in the Document Viewer.
(See related guidance for opening a document if required.) - Click the Clipboard button in the document toolbar.

- Click and drag to highlight the text you want to copy.
- Release the mouse. The selected text is automatically copied to the clipboard.
- Paste the copied text into another location, such as a note, worksheet, or external document.
