The document query part of AI Analysis allows users to ask questions about the content of the document or transcript that they are working on. You can run a query from a tab in the AI Analysis tool, or from the left-hand navigation panel in the document viewer.
Running a query
- Select the desired document.
- In the Details panel, select the Analysis tab.
- Select the Query tab.
- Type in a question pertaining to the selected document.
If your query doesn’t return expected results, clear the chat and rephrase the query.
Examples of prompts or questions could include:
- Generate a list of people mentioned in this document.
- Generate a list of events, in chronological order, that relate to {topic).
- Summarize the witnesses opinion on {topic}.
- Prepare a list of potential defenses to the allegations in this document.
- Generate a list of key themes/issues/topics mentioned in this document
Saving queries
To save a query and the responses to a .docx file (without the sources), select the 3-dot kebab menu in the top right corner and select Download (docx). The Word document is saved in the download location specified in your browser settings.
To save a query, the responses, and its prompts to a project (without the sources), select the 3-dot kebab menu and select Add to project (docx). You see a message 1 file sent for processing. A document named chat.docx is generated and published to the Uploads folder.
