The analysis component of the Opus 2 AI assist feature extracts specific entities from the selected document and presents these alongside information that is relevant in the context of the specific entity.
The following entities can be analyzed and extracted from a document:
- Key points
- Events
- People
- Organizations
- Legal Topics.
It is possible to perform a document analysis both from the documents page and from within the document viewer.
If you want to extract any of the entities that have been found during the analysis into one of your worksheets, such as the Characters or Chronology worksheets, this must be done from the document viewer.

When using the Key Points feature, the Show Sources toggle can be selected to show or hide the source information at the bottom of each section. This information will show how relevant each source is to the summary when hovered over.
Clicking on a source page while in the document viewer will bring you directly to that section in your document with the source passages highlighted.
