The document analysis component of Opus 2's AI Analysis allows you to add information to worksheets using the built-in AI Autofill function when accessed through the document viewer. After an analysis of the Events, People, or Organisations, has been completed, each item appears in a card view within the AI Analysis column with a summary of related information.
Prerequisites
To see all the available entries in the card menu shown below, and allow the linking of highlighted text to characters, a specific metadata field Highlighted text has to added to all three worksheets for Event, Organisation, and Character.
To do this, do the following:
- Open the worksheet, select Edit.
- In the Edit worksheet dialog, select File fields > Text in a document.
- Add a field called Highlighted text.
- Set Characters to extract to 100.
- Select the checkboxes for both Documents and Transcripts. Set Annotation style to Highlight.
- Select Include word values.
- Select Save.
System administrator settings:
There is a field setting called User only (no autocomplete) that must be switched OFF to allow AI to autocomplete fields. If you encounter challenges where the autocomplete is completing fields that you don't want it to autocomplete, turn this setting ON.Note: AI autofill does not work if the user adds to a worksheet by selecting documents using the checkboxes, and then by selecting Actions dropdown > Add to [worksheet name].
Using AI Autofill
In Document Viewer, after an analysis of the Events, People, or Organisations, has been completed, each item appears in a card view within the AI Analysis column with a summary of related information
- Select the 3-dot kebab menu at the top right of the desired card. You see a list of options for linking the identified information to other worksheets within the project.
- Choosing Add Event, Organization, Character or Note, opens a new dialog box where AI Autofill inputs applicable information into the fields for the new item.
- Add any additional information to the form. A checkmark appears next to the AI icon in the top-right corner of the window to signify that information added using the AI Autofill feature is complete.
- Select Save. A small card appears in the right panel of the viewer and the corresponding text remains highlighted in the main pane. A new entry is also added to the associated worksheet, for example, Chronology.
