Archiving a project creates a point-in-time snapshot that preserves the project state and allows recovery if the project is deleted or modified. Archives are accessible only from the system admin area.
Why Archive your project?
Project archiving is designed as a safeguard to preserve critical project data at a specific moment in time. When a project is archived, a snapshot is created that captures the project exactly as it existed at that point.
Archived projects are not visible in the system dashboard or project directory and cannot be accessed by standard users. Only system administrators can view, download, upload, or restore archived projects from the System Admin area.
This functionality is especially useful prior to major project updates, migrations, or deletions.
