A lot of our clients utilise a piece of remote workstation software called Citrix.
This means all of their work content is not carried out on their local machine, but a remote one, and is usually done for security purposes.
However sometimes they have issues when using the platform and Citrix together. This is not an issue with the platform, but rather Citrix and they should be contacting their IT Team to resolve it.
Here are some known issues you can provide as a starting ground for their IT Team.
Chrome version 77/78 issues
Steps to reproduce the problem:
- On a Citrix server, running any chrome 77/78. Lock you screen.
- All users on that Citrix server running Chrome, Chrome will stop updating the screen until ANY user unlocks their session on this same Citrix server.
- Unlock the screen, all users can use chrome again.
What is the expected behaviour?
Chrome shouldn't trigger the fact that the screen is occluded when it is not.
What went wrong?
Screen goes blank and all Chrome browsers on that server will stop rendering until SOME citrix user unlocks their screen.
