What is Follow Presenter and why is it resource consuming?

Follow Presenter is a tool in the hearing room that allows clients to see a version of the currently presented document they can make annotations on or scroll through at will. This differs from the standard EPE view as that is fixed and cannot be manipulated by the client. It also refreshes as the referenced document changes.

This can be resource consuming because it involves generating the document on multiple assets in the hearing room at once, if everyone has this tool enabled. It can be especially taxing with large or high quality documents.

As a result - this tool is limited as to how many people can utilise it and it is usually to the discretion of the Case Management team to roll out to users.

At this current time we suggest no more than 20 concurrent users in the hearing room utilising this tool.
