There are a couple of times where you may see the filename of your document change on upload to the platform. Not to fear - there is usually a clear reasoning behind this. 


Different Characters


If you see character strings like: or !@" this typically means one of the characters in your filename is not in UTF-8 Format, or put simply, has non-standard characters such as é or ó. 


The platform can see these characters if you input them manually on the platform itself via the properties. 


Missing Name


Sometimes when uploading to the platform - you'll get clients provide filenames like this:


DOCUMENTID_COUNTRY_12345678_PLATOFRMA_24


However on upload, it'll look like this:


DOCUME_1


This is due to the filename limitations in Windows. To get around this issue, copy the files from the network drive that they are saved on to your Desktop / Local Save Files and try upload again - the issue should not replicate.
