When exporting files from the Opus2 system, there are multiple options available. Exporting or downloading native files is a great way to get documents in their original file formats (.docx, .xlsx, .txt, etc.) and save them to share with other parties. This guide will show you how to download and export native files individually, or in bulk.
Downloading Native Files
If you are only retrieving an individual native file,there are 2 ways to do this:
- From the Actions tool.
- Use the tic box to select the desired document.
- Click on the Actions dropdown.
- Select the Download original option.
- Use the tic box to select the desired document.
- From the View panel.
- Click on the row of the desired document.
From the View tab, click the icon, just above the document preview.
- Select the Download original option.
- Click on the row of the desired document.
In both instances, a green pop-up will appear to verify the download is complete.
Exporting Native Files
If you want to retrieve multiple native files at once, it is best to use the export method.
- Select the document(s) using the tic box(es).
- Click the Export dropdown.
- Select the PDF or Zip bundle option.
- From the Export dialogue box, click Advanced options.
- In the Advanced options section, click the Natives converted to PDF dropdown.
- Select Original.
- Once you have selected your desired preferences, click Export.
- A green pop-up will verify the Export.
- Click the Project button in the top right corner and select Exports.
- From the Exports page, click Download export.
