The Opus 2 AI assists feature includes Canvases, which allows you to pre-analyze any document or groups documents.
Performing an AI analysis on a document can sometimes take a little time. If you have a large number of documents that you want to analyze, putting them in a canvas will automatically perform an AI analysis on those documents so that when you access them at a later time you will not need to wait for the analysis to take place in real time.
When you add documents to a canvas, an orange semi-circle will indicate that the documents are being analyzed. A green circle with a check indicates that all the documents in that canvas are ready.
How to create a canvas:
- Click the '+' symbol next the Canvases and providing a name and optional color for the canvas.
To add documents to your canvas, simply use the check boxes to select the relevant documents from your folders then click and drag the icon to the desired canvas.
You can also click the Actions dropdown and select 'Add to canvas'
Note: You do not need to add a document to a canvas in order to perform AI analysis. The AI assist tool can still be accessed directly from any document in your project. The canvas feature simply allows you to put larger sets of documents through an analysis in advance of when you want to access them.
